Fairfax on Foot: Oak Knoll Neighborhood Walk

April 21, 2018 by Jennifer Hammond Leave a Comment

Difficulty: Easy (2.4 miles)

Join Sustainable Fairfax for this (mostly) flat walk through the Oak Knoll neighborhood on Saturday, April 21.  We’ll meet at the Center Blvd entrance of Good Earth Natural Foods at 10am and walk east through this historic neighborhood, meandering close to San Anselmo Creek through picturesque streets, alleys and across bridges. At  Saunders we will loop back via San Anselmo Avenue, with some history stops at Lansdale and Yolanda stations.

Judy Coy of the San Anselmo Historical Society will be joining us for the walk to provide us with some introductory comments about the history of this area.

Post-walk lunch or snack with group optional. All ages welcome!

This is a free event. Donations welcome.
