May 25, 2016 by Sustainable Fairfax Leave a Comment

Resilient Neighborhoods Intro Meeting

Wednesday, May 25th, 7:30 PM – Fairfax Women’s Club, 46 Park Rd.

Come to this presentation and find out what you can do about climate change. It’s important here in Marin because 60% of the CO2 pollution comes from the residents.

The program offers practical actions to live more lightly on the earth, reduce your bills & water usage, and make your family, neighborhood and community more resilient. In five facilitated meetings over a couple of months, you and your teammates actually reduce your household’s carbon footprints. Even people who have done a lot already find new actions to take. It’s fun, free and rewarding!

To date, 635 Marin residents have reduced over 2.7 million pounds of CO2 emissions and are making their communities safer and stronger!
