Hands-On Laundry-to-Landscape Greywater Install Workshop

December 5, 2015 by Sustainable Fairfax Leave a Comment

THIS WORKSHOP IS FULL & REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.  To be put on the wait list, please email SustainFX@gmail.com.  We will have another workshop in 2016 and will notify you when it is scheduled. Thank you!!

_____________

DON’T LET PERFECTLY GOOD WATER ESCAPE DOWN THE DRAIN!

In this class, you’ll learn to install a simple home greywater system to help you save water during this historic drought.

The best way to reduce water use during the drought is to re-route used household water from your washing machine and shower to nurture the garden. This hands-one workshop will walk you through the design process for a “laundry to landscape” (L2L) greywater system, which is the most popular, simple, and easiest-to-install residential system.  L2L greywater installations do not require a permit!

Whether you install the system yourself, or you hire someone to assist you, this workshop will prepare you for the experience. You’ll work with the group and instructors to build a real system plus access individual advice from experienced instructors about your own site.

Attendees will leave with increased confidence as well as a system design and materials list to construct their own L2L system.

The workshop will take place at the home of Larry Bragman, member of the Marin Municipal Water District Board of Directors representing Fairfax.
