Thank You for Participating in Take-Back Day!
Unused or expired prescription medications are a public safety issue, leading to potential accidental
poisoning, misuse, and overdose. Proper disposal of unused drugs saves lives and protects the environment. Thank you for doing your part
E–waste contains a long list of chemicals that are harmful to people and the environment, like: mercury, lead, beryllium, brominated flame retardants, and cadmium. When electronics are mishandled during disposal, these chemicals end up in our soil, water, and air. Thank you for recycling with us.
Thank you to The Town of Fairfax, the Fairfax Police, Marin Sanitary, and Conservation Corps North Bay for putting this event together for the benefit of Fairfax citizens, and the environment!
