Fairfax Craft Faire- Shop locally and sustainably!

Saturday, December 7, 2019 – 11am-5pm

The Fairfax Craft Faire is a favorite community event! Shop for sustainable crafts and products offered by our local artists and crafts people. Enjoy live music, fun activities for the kids, delectable snacks and seasonal libations.

CALLING ALL BAKERS: Donate your favorite baked goodie to the Bake Sale at the Fairfax Craft Faire and receive 5 free raffle tickets for our Craft Faire Raffle! Submit this form to register your item (or write to info@sustainablefairfax.org).

VOLUNTEERS: Sign up to volunteer for the event here!

Directions: The Fairfax Craft Faire is held at the Pavilion in Fairfax, CA. The Pavilion is the big red historic building that has hosted many celebrations over the years. The address is 142 Bolinas Road, Fairfax, CA 94930.

This event is coordinated by Sustainable Fairfax and Fairfax Recreation.

Kickoff the holiday season with the Fairfax Craft Faire – a favorite community event! Shop for sustainably-derived crafts and products offered by our local artists and crafts people. Enjoy live music, delectable snacks and seasonal libations. There are fun activities for the kids too.

CALLING ALL BAKERS: Support the Craft Faire by donating your favorite baked goodie to the Fairfax Craft Faire Bake Sale, and receive free raffle tickets for our Craft Faire Raffle. Just submit this form, and bring your item between 9:30-10:30am to the Fairfax Pavilion kitchen on Saturday morning. Thank you!

Sustainable Fairfax Announces First Annual Baking Contest at the Fairfax Craft Faire

The Fairfax Craft Faire is holding its first annual Baking Contest!

There will be two categories for judging: Cookies & Brownies and Cakes & Cupcakes.

Bring your bake sale donation to the Fairfax Craft Faire Bake Sale at the Fairfax Pavilion, 142 Bolinas Road (the red barn) by 10:45am on Saturday, December 13. Provide your name, name of dish, and ingredients list to be entered into the contest.

Fairfax Craft Faire hours are 11am-5pm and judging for the baking contest will take place at NOON. Judges

include Mayor Barbara Coler, Fairfax Council Member Renee Goddard, Taste & Kitchen owner Lorenzo Jones, musician Jack Irving, Lola’s store owner Joelle Levy, and owner of Aphro Cuisine Megan McCulloch.

Winners will receive a gift from Taste Kitchen & Table. Category 1 will receive a $25 gift certificate to Taste and Category, and Category 2 will receive one cooking class from Taste’s new cooking class series starting in January (value $65).

Entries will be judged equally on 1-appearance (1-10), 2-taste (1-10), and 3-ingredients (1-10).
