Kick start the holiday season with the fun and festive Fairfax Craft Faire! Enjoy live music, delectable snacks from Good Earth Natural Foods, and amazing chai from Key Tea while you browse booths offering sustainably-derived crafts and goods. Get all of your shopping done, knowing you are supporting local artists and designers.
Calling All Bakers! Enter your best baked goody in the second annual Baking Contest at the faire. Like last year, the contest will include two categories: 1) Cookies and Brownies and 2) Cupcakes and Cakes. Bring your contest entries to the bake sale at the kitchen inside the Pavilion by 10:45 am (all entries will be donations to our benefit bake sale). With each entry include 1) a list of ingredients, 2) whether item is organic and/or vegan. The contest will begin at noon featuring a panel of Fairfax judges including Mayor Renee Goddard, Taste Kitchen & Table owner Lorenzo Jones and others. Entries will be evaluated equally based on appearance, taste, and ingredients. Prizes from Taste Kitchen & Table will be awarded to the winner in each category.
