Fairfax Festival and EcoFest

The Fairfax Festival is Marin’s premier community celebration. The Festival embodies the values that are dear to all: community, family, social responsibility, sustainability and, of course, a great party.

The Fairfax Ecofest, a festival within the traditional Fairfax Festival, is an ecological celebration! Come share your ideas with local environmental groups, shop for organic goods and services, indulge in organic food, wine and beer, hear locally grown music, view art and have fun with the kids.

Sustainable Fairfax helps make the Festival sustainable. We help staff eco-stations and educate Festival goers. We work with the EcoFest and staff a table there. And of course, we proudly march in the parade!

VOLUNTEER

• Work on the Festival committee in planning efforts
• Work at the event at the herculean effort at minimizing waste, setting up, cleaning up.
• Lots of jobs that need to be done, including walking in the parade!
