Fall Into the Garden!

Don’t miss our “Fall Into the Garden” weekend! Attend our showing of the seed film, “Open Sesame” on Friday, September 11th, and then come to the Sustainable Garden at the Fairfax Women’s Club the following day on Saturday, September 12 for a backyard compost talk, seed swap, lectures, tool sharpening and more.

Marin Master Gardeners Joan Irwin & Susan Garnett will talk about backyard composting, including Worm Bin and Worm Tea Demonstrations!
11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. COMMUNITY SEED EXCHANGE
~BRING YOUR SEEDS (or a $5 donation)~
• Pesticide-free collected seeds from your garden labeled with date harvested, location and information for next grower.
• Partially opened or unused seed packets accepted.
• Non-hybrid, non-GMO
11:30 a.m.-Noon TALK BY CLAIRE HOPE CUMMINGS
Seed-saving talk by award-winning author of Uncertain Peril, Genetic Engineering and the Future of Seeds. She connects people with the ancient wisdom of plant-based cultures.
