Fairfax on Foot: Evening history walk in Oak Knoll Neighborhood- Saturday, July 16

July 16, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Join Sustainable Fairfax for this 2-mile (mostly) flat walk through the Oak Knoll neighborhood on Saturday, July 16.  We’ll meet at the Center Blvd entrance of Good Earth Natural Foods at 5 pm and walk east through this historic neighborhood, meandering close to San Anselmo Creek through picturesque streets, alleys and across bridges. At  Saunders we will loop back via San Anselmo Avenue, with some history stops at Lansdale and Yolanda stations.

Judy Coy of the San Anselmo Historical Society will be joining us for the walk to provide us with some introductory comments about the history of this area.

Post-walk dinner or snack with group optional.

Please email SustainFX@gmail.com for more information.
